Cheryl & Martin
Where Detail Makes the Difference
When Cheryl and Martin planned a new kitchen as part of a wider home extension, they were looking for more than a straightforward replacement. They wanted a space that worked harder for them every day, combining considered design with appliances that would genuinely change how they cooked and entertained.

The Design Challenge
The extension gave Cheryl and Martin the opportunity to reconsider their ground floor layout, including how the kitchen would connect to a utility room. The challenge was to carry the kitchen run through without disruption while still providing practical access between the two spaces. They also wanted a kitchen that felt refined and purposeful, not simply well-equipped.
They visited the KF Kitchens showroom at Faraday Mill and, from that first appointment, felt at ease. As they later put it: “From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in expert hands.”

The Solution
Derinda worked closely with Cheryl and Martin to understand both their aesthetic preferences and how they used the space day to day. The result is a Nolte kitchen in Artline Coffee and Neo Pure Bronze, with MatrixArt Bronze rails giving a clean, handleless finish. The layered tones bring warmth to the room without sacrificing the precision of the overall design.
Nathan guided the technical specification throughout, explaining the reasoning behind each decision rather than simply presenting options. As the couple describe: “He didn’t just sell us a kitchen; he educated us on the ‘why’ behind the ‘what.’”
Worktops are Dekton Kelya in a 20mm thickness, offering a marble-inspired appearance with the durability a working kitchen demands. The utility room access was resolved with a 750mm wide opening integrated into the kitchen run, with lit open shelving built alongside it, keeping the overall line unbroken.

Installation and Completion
As the kitchen formed part of a larger building project, Cheryl and Martin had their own trades already in place. KF Kitchens’ installation team worked alongside the builders, electrician and plumber, coordinating timelines and technical requirements as the project progressed.
The appliance specification centres on two Neff added-steam ovens, a Neff venting hob which removes the need for overhead extraction, and an extra-wide 750mm Neff fridge freezer. With five qualifying Neff products in their specification, Cheryl and Martin received £1,400 through a Neff cashback promotion. A Quooker Fusion Square tap in black, paired with the CUBE system, delivers boiling, chilled and sparkling water from a single fixture.
The Result
Throughout installation, the team’s attention to detail remained consistent. Cheryl and Martin describe KF Kitchens as “perfectionists in the best sense of the word,” noting that care for the smaller details was what set the project apart.
Following completion, the couple attended one of KF Kitchens’ Neff cooking demonstration days at the showroom, putting their appliances through their paces with hands-on guidance from the team.
The finished kitchen reflects everything Cheryl and Martin set out to achieve: a well-considered design, a rigorous specification, and a team they trusted to deliver it.
