Appliance Brand
Gaggenau

Precision Craftsmanship
Gaggenau has held a distinctive place in kitchen appliances since 1683. What started as an ironworks in Germany's Black Forest transformed into a manufacturer that introduced the first built-in oven in 1956. The brand works closely with Michelin-starred chefs, using their needs to develop appliances that connect professional and home kitchens.
The brand is the Official Home Kitchen Appliance Partner of the Michelin Guide. This partnership reinforces their Professional Kitchen Principle, an approach that brings restaurant kitchen functionality into home environments. Gaggenau still hand-assembles large parts of their equipment in Germany and France, with over 810 manufacturing steps completed manually rather than by automation.

Professional Kitchen Principle
Gaggenau partners with Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, using chef feedback to inform product development. Their Black Jacket Society honours chefs whose restaurants have earned Michelin stars, offering insights into how equipment performs in professional settings.
Their appliances undergo testing that simulates professional kitchen conditions. Ovens face thermal stress equivalent to decades of continuous use, and controls must remain responsive after thousands of operations. This professional foundation ensures appliances designed for restaurant kitchen standards, suitable for both occasional home cooks and those with professional-level expectations.

Product Range & Technology
Both of Gaggenau's Minimalist and Expressive Series include ovens, combi-steam ovens, warming drawers, espresso machines, and their Vario modular cooking system. The Vario approach allows specialised cooking zones to be combined into integrated worktop surfaces. Their full-surface induction technology transforms the entire cooktop into one large cooking area, enabling cookware to be placed anywhere on the surface.
The combi-steam ovens were among the first to be commercially produced for private homes, combining dry heat, steam, and convection in a sequence that professional chefs require.

Integration with Kitchen Design
Gaggenau appliances complement contemporary kitchen designs, especially those with handleless cabinets and flush surfaces. Their dimensions adhere to German standards, blending seamlessly with Nolte furniture systems.
The equipment functions in both new installations and renovation projects, though their integrated nature demands careful planning. Our team reviews Gaggenau specifications during design consultations, discussing which appliances suit your cooking needs.

Working Appliances in Our Showroom
We are introducing working Gaggenau appliances to our showroom in 2026, featuring them in a central display with full water and waste connections. This installation will showcase their complete cooking system, where you can see ovens, combi-steam units, and full-surface induction technology operating together.
You will be able to test their control interfaces, which Gaggenau designs for professional environments but adapts for domestic use. The displays will show how their combi-steam technology integrates dry heat, steam, and convection cooking in precise sequences.
